The pricing below is for 1 or 2 persons. For every extra person add $10.00 p/n. Every room comes equipped with the standard service of, Toaster, Fridge, Kettle, TV, Air-Conditioning, Linen, Towels, Tea & Coffee making facilities and BBQ. Please let the office know when and if you would like your room serviced during your stay.

• Camping Facilities are available: $24.00 per unpowered site up to two persons - each additional adult $10.00 & $3.50 per child (Under 16) Under 5 free. Powered Sites are available at $28.00 ($30.00 if air-conditioner is used) per site per night.

LOCAL TOUR.

• A combined Town and Mine tour is available and departs daily from the  Camping Grounds . The tour takes approximately 2¼Hrs and gives an in-depth look at one of the largest Bauxite Mines in the world. The tour costs $27.00 per adult  and $10.00 per child under 16 years. Due to safety concerns, and because it is a regulation to use seat belts when fitted, children are not permitted to sit on your lap.

FISHING TRIPS.

• Fishing trips can be organized through the Camping Grounds . Both Full Day and ½ Day Estuary Trips.  Prices are available upon enquiry. These trips include bait, lines, tackle, Lunch (Full Day), smoko’s, and all fish are cleaned to take home.

SCENIC FLIGHTS.

• There are a number of different scenic flights available. Please contact: Weipa Air Charter Ph. (07) 40697807

BOAT HIRE.

• Boats may be hired from  $150 per day includes trailer - 3days and over $130 per day - $100.00 per Half Day. Please note that a Current Boat Licence will be required. These boats come with all Safety Equipment. Enquiries may be made through the Camping grounds Office. Boat trailers are available separately for hire at $15 per day or $90 per week.

LOCAL SHOPS - CLUBS - RESTAURANTS.

• Weipa also offers a Woolworth’s Store, which is approximately 200metres from the Camping Grounds. There is also a Golf Club, Bowls Club, Albatross Hotel and the Heritage Resort with restaurant facilities available at all of those.

4WD HIRE.

• There are no 4WD tours that depart Weipa to Cape York, however it is possible to hire a 4WD.  Further information is available by phoning Weipa Rent-a-Car on     (07) 40697311.

AIR SERVICE.

• Weipa has a daily Qantas Airways return air service Cairns to Weipa, which takes approximately 1 Hour.
