The pricing below is for 1 or 2 persons. For every extra person add $15.00 p/n. Every room comes equipped with the standard service of, Toaster, Fridge, Kettle, TV, Air-Conditioning, Linen, Towels, Tea & Coffee making facilities and BBQ. Please let the office know when and if you would like your room serviced during your stay.

CAMPING.

• Camping Facilities are available: $24.00 p/n for unpowered site up to two persons - each additional adult $10.00 & $3.50 per child (5 to 15) Under 5 free. Powered Sites are available at $28.00 ($31.50 if you have an air-conditioner) per site per night.
• Note: A discount applies after 4 weeks. Please enquire.

LOCAL TOUR.

• A combined Town and Mine tour is available and departs daily from the  Camping Grounds . The tour takes approximately 2 hours and gives an in-depth look at one of the largest bauxite mines in the world. The tour costs $30.00 per adult  and $12.00 per child less than 16 years of age. Due to safety concerns, and because it is a regulation to use seat belts when fitted, children under 5 are not permitted. All patrons must remain seated; children are not to be placed on laps. Rio Tinto has asked that no video recordings are to be taken, however you are more than welcome to take photos.

FISHING TRIPS.

• Weipa has a number of different Fishing Charters that operate almost all year round. All information and contact details can either be found through a search on the internet or through our office.

SCENIC FLIGHTS.

• There are a number of different scenic flights available. Please contact: Weipa Air Charter Ph. (07) 40697807

BOAT HIRE.

• Boats may be hired from $150 per day includes trailer - 3days and over $140 per day- $100.00 per Half Day. Please note that a Current Boat Licence will be required and either Credit Card details or $300 cash deposit will need to be left. All boats must be returned to office every night before 6pm cleaned and refuelled. Hiring Times are 7am-6pm (full day) 7am-12pm or 12pm-6pm (half day) these boats come with all Safety Equipment. LOCAL SHOPS - CLUBS - RESTAURANTS.

• Weipa also offers a Woolworth’s Store, which is approximately 200metres from the Camping Grounds. There is also a Golf Club, Bowls Club, Albatross Hotel and the Heritage Resort with restaurant facilities available at all of those.

BUS HIRE.

• 24 seated bus $110 per hour without driver 

• 48 & 57 seated bus $145 per hour without driver.

• add an extra $33 per hour if driver is required.

AIR SERVICE.

• Weipa has a daily Qantas Airways return air service Cairns to Weipa, which takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.
